Job summary

Hussey Copper is seeking an Operations Laborer for our Eminence, KY facility. This hands-on role involves operating production machinery, assembling and cutting metal components, inspecting products, and maintaining production records to meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in metal manufacturing, basic math and tape measure skills, strong attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of industrial metal manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and production equipment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and production standards.
• Operate industrial machinery to produce parts and components according to customer specifications.
• Monitor equipment to ensure machines operate safely, properly, and efficiently.
• Assemble and cut metal components according to specified requirements.
• Inspect materials and finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain complete and accurate production records.
• Identify and report equipment, quality, or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams.
• Perform other manufacturing and production duties as assigned.
