Job summary

BTD Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a skilled manufacturing operator to run welding, assembly or machining equipment and various presses in our metalworking operation. Under general supervision, you will follow blueprints, verify parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or be 18+, pass a blueprint/mathematics test, and bring basic shop experience. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to daily maintenance checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 18+ years old and able to pass basic math/blueprint test with 85%+.
• Recent mechanical and shop experience is beneficial.
• Ability to read and understand simple blueprints and sketches.
• Ability to follow routine written and oral instructions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Read and understands blueprints/sketches to manufacture parts.
• Manufacture parts using blueprints and Operator Instructions.
• Inspect parts with tape measure, caliper, micrometer and protractor.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document findings as required.
• Operate stamping presses, milling/CNC machines and other equipment as needed.
