Job summary

The Toro Company, BOSS Snowplow division, seeks a Machine Operator for 2nd shift in Iron Mountain, MI. Starting wage is $18.97 with a 5% differential, totaling $19.92 per hour, with overtime possible.

You will operate and maintain heavy equipment, read blueprints, and perform inspections to ensure quality. Responsibilities include cutting, forming, drilling, and finishing metal parts, plus routine machine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and measure using tools.
• Vocational training or prior machine operating experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate shear, saw, laser cut, plasma cut, bend, roll, drill, tap, punch, cope, wire brush, de-burr, and grind steel plate, sheet and structural shapes as required.
• Form, cut, bend, punch, and drill copper bus as required.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and cleaning on each machine.
• Perform first article and other piece-part inspections per Quality System.
