Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Metal Grinder in Plano, TX. You will operate portable grinders, grind, finish, polish metal components, and read blueprints to meet specifications in a fast-paced production setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of metal grinding experience, high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to safety. Shift is 1st, Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays and early start times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year metal grinding experience in manufacturing/fabrication
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure specs
• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Grind, finish, polish, and deburr metal components to meet quality standards
• Use grinders, files, buffing wheels, and sanding equipment
• Inspect materials and completed work for accuracy and quality
• Read blueprints to ensure proper specifications
• Follow safety procedures and keep area clean and organized
• Collaborate with production teams to meet daily goals
