Job summary

Gauthier Biomedical Inc. is seeking a production associate focused on polishing and finishing metal components. You will perform belt sanding, polishing with wheels, and related finishing steps to meet quality and production requirements.

You will also handle glass-bead blasting, passivation, and deflashing tasks, using hand and power tools. Attention to safety and process documentation is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; one to three months related production experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be mechanically inclined and willing to learn, with ability to follow process documentation and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Polish metal components using belt sanding, polishing wheels, and other fiber wheels.
• Perform glass-bead and grit blast operations; assist with passivation and deflashing.
• Use hand and power tools; conduct basic preventive maintenance; troubleshoot machines using manuals.
• Read and follow process documentation; ensure conformance to specifications with precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and communicate effectively with team members, vendors, customers, and regulatory agencies.
