Staffmark in Springville, AL is hiring a Manufacturing Associate to inspect, assemble, and pack metal components on a 6 AM - 2:20 PM shift. The role emphasizes attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.

You will read work orders, operate hand and power tools, and help meet daily production and quality goals. This is a hands-on position offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

High school diploma or GED preferred; prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, production instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Finish and prepare manufactured metal components.
• Grind, smooth, and clean metal surfaces to meet specifications.
• Inspect finished products for defects, quality standards and workmanship.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, drawings, and production specifications.
• Handle, move, and organize materials and finished products safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet daily production, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Follow all company safety procedures, manufacturing standards, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to support production schedules and customer deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
