Tecomet Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Metal Finisher I for a 1st shift role. You will perform finishing operations such as deburring, hand grinding, polishing, and edge breaks, following job orders and blueprints.

This position emphasizes safety, quality, and meeting production goals. You will set up finishing equipment, inspect parts visually, and participate in 5S practices to keep the work area clean and organized.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hand tools, sanders, and grinders preferred.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Commitment to safety policies.
• Ability to meet production metrics.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic finishing operations, including deburring, hand grinding, and polishing; break edges.
• Perform sand blasting using a blast cabinet and determine appropriate medium for various operations.
• Conduct visual inspections to achieve surface finishes per specifications and blueprints.
• Perform required set-ups and operation of finishing equipment to apply proper finish.
• Acquire Production Approval (PA) when specified on job router or work order.
• Counts parts before starting and after completion to ensure accuracy.
