Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Apprentice or vocational training preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours.
• Experience in fabrication, manufacturing or construction preferred.
• Must read and interpret shop drawings and use precise measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operates various manual and automated equipment to produce metal components.
• Reads and applies basic math to cutting parts and assemblies.
• Assembles components and prepares end products for transport to sites.
• Verifies material and parts against paperwork; reports variances.
• Uses measuring tools to check quality to the thousandth of an inch.
• Sets up jigs/fixtures and performs tooling changes for new operations.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and uses shop software for task updates.
