Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly.
• Must be able to read build sheets and blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and diagrams.
• Ability to work rapidly under time pressure to meet build requirements.
• Medium to heavy physical effort and lifting as described in duties.

Responsibilities

• Position parts according to knowledge of unit or blueprint.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners using hand, air, and/or power tools.
• Remove small quantities of metal to ensure close fits between parts.
• Operate machinery for fastening operations as specified.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist in training others as requested by supervisor.
• Overtime may be required to meet production needs.
