American Vision Partners (AVP) is seeking a Payments/Cash Posting Specialist for our Phoenix Corporate office near the Biltmore area. The role focuses on posting payments, reconciling daily batches, and upholding HIPAA and CMS guidelines.

You will handle electronic remittances, EOBs, paper checks, and patient portal transactions, maintain accuracy, and collaborate with clinic staff and payers to ensure timely processing and strong cash flow.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years cash posting or medical billing experience.
• Active knowledge of CMS guidelines and coding policies.
• Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
• Professional customer service skills and ability to work with team members, payers, and patients.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately posts transactions (payments and adjustments) daily from various sources (Electronic Remittances, paper checks, EOBs, patients, collections, Care Credit).
• Balances daily batches against deposits and adheres to the payment reconciliation process.
• Meets or exceeds productivity standards and maintains low error rate.
• Responds to phone calls and emails promptly; prioritizes work for turnaround time.
• Performs other assigned duties and general duties as needed.
• Monthly supervision with supervisor and ongoing training.
