Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Medical Assembly/Microscope Assembly Technician for contract-to-hire roles in Arden Hills, MN. The position involves assembling small plastic and electronic components for medical devices, often under a microscope in a clean-room setting.

There are first and second shifts with potential overtime on Saturdays. The role requires excellent hand‑eye coordination, a steady hand, and the ability to read and document work orders in English.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work under a microscope for extended periods.
• Experience with medical or electronic assembly is preferred.
• Experience working in a clean-room environment.
• Familiarity with microscopes in production or lab settings.
• Comfort with repetitive, detail-oriented tasks while seated.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small plastic and electronic components for hearing aid and pacemaker devices with precision.
• Use a microscope for assembly and quality inspection.
• Handle tiny parts with tweezers and small tools.
• Follow detailed work orders and production instructions.
• Document work clearly in English.
• Inspect parts under the microscope to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain clean-room protocols and safety procedures.
• Sit for most of the shift and stay focused on fine motor tasks.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to support production.
• Overtime work on Saturdays as needed.
