Job summary

HuFriedyGroup is seeking an Assembler I to assemble medical devices and subassemblies under limited supervision. You will read blueprints, set up builds per work orders, and perform leak tests while ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO guidelines. The role requires lifting up to 30 lbs and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Shift: 1st, 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thu, 4:30 am - 3:00 pm). Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and tubing diagrams.
• Experience assembling machined and purchased parts.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical device components per work orders and blueprints.
• Perform leak testing and assembly tests per work instructions.
• Inspect materials and assemblies to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot assemblies that fail testing and communicate with engineering.
