Job summary

Abbott in Temecula, CA, is seeking an Assembler II in the Abbott Vascular Devices division to join a team assembling, welding, x-raying, repairing and testing medical device assemblies including pacemakers and ICD leads.

Under supervision, you will perform electronic, casting/coating, mechanical assembly and packaging tasks, inspect parts for quality, and ensure compliance with FDA and QMS requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs Electronic Assembly functions: assembles, welds, solders and x-rays medical devices and related parts.
• Performs Casting/Coating Functions: examines and patches bubbles or voids and cures epoxy patches.
• Performs Mechanical Assembly Functions: kits, bonds coats and processes medical devices and related parts.
• Performs Packaging Functions: kits, assembles and packages devices and related accessories.
