Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a MJF Media Operator to blast parts per job sheets and drawings, ensuring high quality with all powder removed and compliance with finishing standards. The role requires reading instructions, inspecting parts, and coordinating with the Finishing department.

You will maintain equipment, monitor media levels, and reject parts not meeting customer needs. A detail-oriented team player with strong focus on safety and accuracy will thrive in this on-site

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute work per detailed job instructions.
• Excellent hand coordination and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work with a team.
• Multitasking ability.
• Able to accomplish tasks without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the MJF Post-Process Lead and the Finishing department.
• Perform work instructions as detailed on the job sheet.
• Compare actual part to job sheet/drawing to verify features.
• Visually inspect parts for defects.
• Ensure equipment is performing well and media levels are kept full and changed per specifications.
• Reject any parts that cannot meet the customer’s needs.
• Notify the MJF Post-Process Lead of any questionable parts.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Promote a positive work environment.
• Assist in various stages of production as needed.
• Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.
