Job summary

Aerotek in Columbus, OH is seeking a Technician in the Mechanical Testing Lab to perform mechanical tests under engineer direction, following applicable codes and standards. You will document test setups and results, collaborate with engineers and customers to ensure timely, accurate outcomes, and maintain a clean, organized lab workspace.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with hydraulic testing equipment, and basic PC and data acquisition software skills;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with mechanical (hydraulic) equipment.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and data acquisition software.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Welding skills and knowledge are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and legible records of mechanical testing setup and results.
• Interact with engineers and external customers to deliver desired results in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other team members to accomplish mechanical testing operations.
• Maintain a clean and presentable working area.
