Job summary

SQA Services is hiring a Quality Mechanical Source Inspector in Mobile, AL. The role focuses on precision inspection of mechanical parts and assemblies during standard business hours, with a typical weekly 30–40 hour schedule.

Candidate will read drawings, use GD&T, and record inspection data with tablets. Travel and mileage reimbursements are included per policy; ITAR considerations apply for eligible personnel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience inspecting precision mechanical parts.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and standards.
• Proficient in GD&T and verifying dimensions with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision inspection verifications on mechanical parts, components, assemblies, and materials.
• Inspect purchased parts, in-process and final assemblies for workmanship and conformance to drawings.
• Perform surface plate inspection of first article and samples as required.
