Job summary

Neros Technologies in the United States is hiring a Quality Inspector to inspect mechanical parts and finished vehicles across the factory, from incoming to final assembly. You will verify dimensions, GD&T, and workmanship, documenting results in production systems to prevent defects.

This hands-on role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of inspection experience in manufacturing. Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools, plus experience with NCR/MES/ERP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years of hands‑on mechanical or electro‑mechanical inspection experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, including GD&T, as well as BOMs and work instructions.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection methods.
• Experience documenting nonconformances in an NCR, MES, or ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, first article, in‑process, and final inspection of mechanical parts, electro‑mechanical sub‑assemblies, and finished vehicles across the factory to drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards
• Verify dimensions and assembly workmanship, including GD&T, fastener torque, connector mating, and harness routing, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and torque tools
• Verify supplier documentation, including certificates of conformance, inspection reports, and traceability
• Independently execute inspection plans, sampling plans, and work instructions, and record results clearly, accurately, and completely in production systems
• Identify and document nonconformances, contain suspect hardware, and verify all required actions from the MRB disposition are complete before releasing hardware back to production
• Act as the eyes and ears on the floor, flagging recurring defects and systemic issues to engineering, production, and supply chain
