Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to support reverse engineering, product reliability, and the design of precision-machined parts and mechanical assemblies.

You will create accurate 3D CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings, develop inspection plans, and evaluate designs for manufacturability and long-term performance. Excellence in communication and project management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
• Experience creating 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.
• Understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, tolerances and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with reverse engineering, part analysis, machine design, manufacturing, inspection, control systems, or project management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sample parts, components, and machinery to understand design and manufacturing requirements.
• Reverse-engineer existing components using physical samples and drawings.
• Interpret customer specifications, drawings, inspection data, and documentation.
• Design precision-machined parts and mechanical assemblies to customer requirements.
