Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience creating 3D CAD models and detailed drawings.
• Understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with reverse engineering and process documentation.
• Ability to translate findings into accurate manufacturing documentation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sample parts and machinery to understand design, function, and manufacturing requirements.
• Reverse-engineer existing components using physical samples, drawings, and data.
• Interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, inspection data, and technical documentation.
• Design precision-machined parts and assemblies per customer requirements.
• Create accurate 3D CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Develop inspection plans communicating dimensional and quality requirements.
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability, reliability, function, and long-term performance.
• Identify missing or incomplete design information and determine solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, manufacturing, inspection, and internal teams.
• Respond to technical questions and resolve engineering or production issues.
• Organize project requirements, set priorities, and manage work through to completion.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while supporting multiple projects and deadlines.
