Job summary

ProMach in Raleigh, NC seeks an Assembly Technician to assemble and erect complex mechanical assemblies with precision. The role requires reading engineering drawings, performing calibrations, and ensuring assemblies meet specs.

You will troubleshoot electrical controls with multimeters and oscilloscopes, plan assembly steps, and inspect finished units to verify tolerances. Physical work includes lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for shifts.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering prints/specifications and instructions.
• Understand and apply mechanical assembly principles to meet specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering prints and instructions for assembly.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls using Multimeter, Amp meter, and oscilloscope.
• Plan procedures to ensure efficient, timely progress and may transport parts as needed.
• Assemble complex mechanical units and align, calibrate, and fit components to spec.
• Inspect parts and sub-assemblies using precision measuring tools and document results.
