Job summary

Discover Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble fabricated parts at floor stations, test and calibrate to meet tolerances, and use hand and power tools to build units according to product specifications.

The role requires reading blueprints, following documented processes, and maintaining equipment. Candidates should have a HS diploma and at least 1 year of related sheet metal or manufacturing experience. On-site role with safety and efficiency expectations.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to use standard hand tools and power tools.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components of front and rear panels, chassis, housings, cabinets, enclosures, and large assemblies.
• Assemble precision electro-mechanical equipment and align parts for smooth operation.
• Install interconnect wiring and assemblies into enclosures.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools and simple measuring devices.
• Follow well-defined documentation identifying the assembly process.
• Maintain warehouse equipment on a daily basis.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and scheduling requirements to complete tasks on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
