RTX is seeking a grinder/operator in Burnsville, MN. The role involves operating grinding equipment, maintaining tools and gear, and ensuring products meet quality standards. You will follow safety rules, use a microscope, and strive to meet tight customer deadlines.

The position requires a high school diploma with at least one year of experience and U.S. person status. Prior grinding/manufacturing experience is preferred, with opportunities for training and certifications.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined by applicable law.
• Preferred: previous manufacturing experience; grinder experience.

Responsabilités

• Operate grinding equipment and tools.
• Maintain proper care of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow all prescribed safety policies and testing.
• Use a microscope for tasks throughout the day.
• Be responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
• Meet customer deadlines and expectations.
• Comply with quality systems.
• Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement plans/events.
• Participate in audits.
• Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
• Route reworked assemblies for testing.
• Clean completed assemblies.
• Assemble parts according to blueprint specifications.
• May fabricate instrument parts through crimping, staking, and cutting.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
