Husky Technologies is seeking an Assembly Technician (Mechanical) in Milton, VT. You will assemble, test and inspect precision mechanical parts used in injection molding systems, following drawings and standardized procedures.

The role emphasizes safety, quality and teamwork in a modern factory setting. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with tools, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Communication, organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel and Word).
• Understand, write and speak basic and technical English.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Install, fit and adjust components to ensure proper fit, form and function.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measurement tools and fixtures safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed assemblies to verify quality and conformance to specifications.
• Perform product testing and document results as required.
• Identify assembly issues and assist with troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, organized and safe condition.
• Communicate quality, tooling or assembly concerns to supervisors and team members.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production, quality and delivery objectives.
