Job summary

KHS USA INC in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Machine Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The role involves assembling machines per engineering blueprints, preparing part kits, and reviewing bill-of-materials to ensure sales order specs are met.

You will inspect parts, deburr edges, and may operate forklifts or cranes. The job requires reading schematics, using hand tools, and aligning components with precision. We offer comprehensive benefits and a stable work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or technical machining cert.
• Mechanical and technical ability to build sub-assemblies to engineering specs.
• Safe use of hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machines per blueprints, specs and instructions.
• Prepare kit of machine parts and follow BOMs to sales orders.
• Inspect and prep parts; deburr edges as needed.
• Operate certified powered industrial trucks or cranes if required.
• Drill, tap or ream holes with hand tools.
• Align components and fasten with bolts/screws.
• Install moving parts and verify operation of components.
• Bend/install pipe or tubing for pneumatic systems.
• Align/mesh gears in gearbox assembly.
• Use precision measuring and gauging devices.
• Follow ISO documents and 5S to keep area organized.
• Communicate with shop leads, production controls or engineers.
