Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronics assembly or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Conformal coating experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs and work instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and small power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly of electronic products, subassemblies, and box builds.
• Assemble components, hardware, cables, wires and harnesses using hand and small power tools.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, work instructions and SOPs.
• Prepare assemblies for conformal coating, including cleaning, masking, fixturing, and material preparation.
• Operate coating equipment and apply materials according to established specifications.
• Inspect coated assemblies for coverage, thickness, defects, masking, and workmanship.
• Use calipers, gauges, magnification equipment, digital multimeters, and other basic inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot assembly and coating issues within established procedures.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality records.
• Follow all quality, ESD, chemical handling, PPE, and safety requirements.
