Job summary

Aerotek in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced Assembler for first and second shift to perform mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies in a modern manufacturing environment. You will work from engineering drawings, use hand and power tools, and conduct quality inspections to support production goals.

This role is contract to hire with a 10% shift differential on Monday-Thursday shifts; onsite in Mesa.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Experience performing quality inspections and testing.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies following drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform quality inspections and functional testing.
• Follow production schedules and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and maintain quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior assemblers as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Work overtime when required to meet production demands.
