Job summary

Chedraui USA in Las Vegas is seeking a Meat Cutter to break, cut, and prepare meat products using hand tools and power equipment according to company standards. You’ll work with customers on special orders and coordinate with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager.

Physically demanding work includes very heavy lifting, bending, standing, and stooping for extended periods. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Breaks, cuts, and prepares meat products using hand tools and power equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Prepares meat products for display or as ordered by customers.
• Works with customers to take special orders and communicates item specifications to Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager.
• Collaborates with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut.
• Performs physical tasks including heavy lifting, bending, standing for prolonged periods, and stooping as required.
