Job summary

Chedraui USA is hiring a Meat Cutter to break, cut and prepare meat products for display or customer orders. You will work with hand tools and power equipment, and coordinate with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to determine items to cut, while adhering to company standards.

This role requires heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and the ability to bend and stoop. A Food Handler Card is required for all food-related positions, and high attention to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform very heavy lifting, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.
• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
• Meat Cutter duties include breaking, cutting and preparing meat products using hand tools and power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Break, cut and prepare meat products for display or customer orders.
• Work with customers to take special orders.
• Coordinate with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut.
• Maintain adherence to company standards for quality and portion sizes.
• Assist with safety and sanitation practices in the meat department.
