Construction Material Testing is seeking a diligent laboratory technician to operate within a documented quality system. You will conduct standardized tests, maintain calibration, log samples, and report results with accuracy for every item that leaves the lab.

We offer training; prior lab experience is a plus but not required. Pay ranges $25–$35 per hour with daytime hours and overtime during busy seasons, reflecting a facility-based lab role serving the region.

Qualifications

• Careful hands, clean documentation habits, mechanical aptitude.
• Prior lab or CMT experience a plus, not required — we train.
• Comfortable with repetitive precision work done right every time.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASTM D698, D1557, D2216, D4318, C136, and C39 testing
• Maintain calibration, standardization, and quality records
• Log samples and preserve chain of custody
• Break cylinders and report strength results same day
• Support proficiency sample programs and accreditation assessments
