Staffmark in Georgetown, KY is hiring a Material Handler Technician for a Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM shift at a $20.00 per hour pay rate. The role involves safely moving materials, operating waterjet, plasma, and band saw equipment, and reading blueprints to support production and inventory flow.

You will perform routine maintenance, assist with setup, and ensure quality and safety standards across warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or metalworking is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, measurements, and production specifications.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and required PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate waterjet cutting machines to produce precision-cut parts.
• Set up and operate band saws to cut metal to specifications.
• Utilize plasma cutting equipment to support fabrication.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect finished materials and cut parts for quality and accuracy.
• Safely move materials using forklifts, cranes, and hoists.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
