Job summary

Durango Machining Innovations is seeking a Material Handler/Laborer to support material preparation, sandblasting, and finishing operations. You will manage customer inventory, perform general labor, and assist with inventory control to ensure efficient production.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, basic troubleshooting, and strict adherence to safety guidelines. Competitive hourly pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or work instructions.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to safety, detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize and stage customer inventory according to job requirements.
• Load, unload, and move materials, parts, and components safely.
• Perform general labor duties in support of production and finishing operations.
• Prepare materials for machining, sandblasting, and finishing processes.
• Operate and assist with sandblasting and other industrial equipment as trained.
• Inspect finished parts and prepare them for storage or shipment.
• Help maintain inventory accuracy, material labeling, and job tracking.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, including sandblasting and prep areas.
• Follow all safety rules, wear required PPE, and support overall production needs.
