Job summary

Legacy Building Solutions LLC, headquartered in Minnesota, is seeking a Material Handler/Backup Sandblaster to join our team. The role includes loading/unloading materials, painting/steel processing, and preparing items for shipment to construction sites.

Responsibilities also cover moving materials between areas, documenting quantities, and operating forklift/combi plus other power tools. A safety-focused, team-oriented candidate with a HS diploma is ideal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to cross train in other areas of the plant/business.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to operate a forklift/combi safely and obtain certification.
• Positive attitude and teamwork mindset.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials.
• Paint/steel processing.
• Prepare materials for shipment to sites.
• Move materials between receiving, production, and storage areas.
• Record quantities of materials received or distributed.
• Sort materials by size, type, style, or product code.
• Operate forklift/combi safely.
• Clean work areas, tools, and equipment; handle metal stock.
• Operate power equipment and tools.
• Perform other duties as needed.
