Job summary

Accelera in Michigan seeks a Production Technician to support precision manufacturing of high-quality components for complex assemblies. You will operate specialized presses, saws, and EDM machinery, ensuring alignment with exact specs and safety standards.

You will read blueprints, use micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions, perform assembly and inspections, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings.
• Basic computer literacy for production systems and internal communications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial presses, saw cutting equipment, and EDM machinery to shape metal components.
• Execute precise sheet metal fabrication tasks, including cutting and bending, to meet exact engineering standards.
• Perform assembly and alignment duties, ensuring every piece meets rigorous quality control benchmarks.
• Conduct thorough inspections of finished goods to identify defects and ensure compliance with industry specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all established safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency and participate in cross-training initiatives.
