Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Precision Manufacturing / Aperture Cleaning Technician to set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines in Nicholasville, KY on-site.

You will support production with highly precise equipment, monitor gauges and controls, follow CGMP and QMS data logging, and meet the essential requirements of an associate degree with 0–1+ years or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 0-1+ years of experience OR multiple years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work with highly precise equipment including microscopes, lathes, ultrasonic cleaners, lasers and chemicals.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10lb, and stand for 7 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Interact with highly technical equipment to ensure product performance.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow rations, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherences to production/process specifications.
• Log data by following CGMPs and a Quality Management System.

The Precision Manufacturing / Aperture Cleaning Technician is responsible for setting up and operating automatic and semi-automatic machines and related equipment.

This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is part of the Hardware component manufacturing team located in Nicholasville, KY and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Interact with highly technical equipment to ensure product performance
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow rations, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherences to production/process specifications
• Log data by following CGMPs and a Quality Management System

The essential requirements of the job include

• Associates degree with 0-1+ years of experience OR multiple years of relevant experience
• Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
• Ability to work with highly precise equipment including, microscopes, lathes, Ultrasonic cleaners, lasers and chemicals.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10lb, and stand for 7 hours per day.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Ability to travel to Florida during training
• ISO 13485 or CGMP experience
• Experience within a Quality Management System
