Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Nicholasville, KY, is seeking a Quality Inspection Technician or Wafer Inspection to set up and operate automated equipment within a hardware manufacturing team. You will ensure product performance, log CGMP-compliant data, and work on-site to support manufacturing processes.

The role requires an Associate degree with 0–1+ years of experience (or more), with bonus exposure to ISO 13485 or CGMP and quality management systems. Training may include travel to Florida.

• ISO 13485 or CGMP experience is a plus.
• Experience within a Quality Management System is a plus.

The Quality Inspection Technician or Wafer Inspection is responsible for setting up and operating automatic and semi-automatic machines and related equipment. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is part of the Hardware component manufacturing team located in Nicholasville, KY and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Interact with highly technical equipment to ensure product performance
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow rations, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherences to production/process specifications
• Log data by following CGMPs and a Quality Management System

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Associates degree with 0-1+ years of experience OR multiple years of relevant experience

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to work with highly precise equipment including, microscopes, lathes, Ultrasonic cleaners, lasers and chemicals.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10lb, and stand for 7 hours per day.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Ability to travel to Florida during training
• ISO 13485 or CGMP experience
• Experience within a Quality Management System
