This is a hands-on, on-site position with a 12:00 PM–8:00 PM second shift and opportunities to work with precision equipment. The technician will be trained to operate lapping and polishing equipment to process small, delicate components to precise specs.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment/processes.
• Comfortable performing repetitive, highly detailed work.
• Basic math skills and reliable attendance for 12 PM–8 PM shift.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, semiconductor, optics, quality inspection, or related hands-on environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate lapping and polishing equipment.
• Load and unload components.
• Follow established production processes and work instructions.
• Perform repetitive, precision-focused work consistently.
• Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks.
• Use measurement/metrology equipment as required.
• Record production and quality information.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Identify basic process or quality issues and escalate when necessary.
• Work closely with supervisors and quality personnel to maintain production standards.
