Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience or 2 years post-secondary. Strong attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and teamwork are essential. Security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Or 2 years post-secondary/Associates with 0–2 years related experience.
• Journeyman certification strongly preferred.
• Experience reading engineering drawings/blueprints is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, sketches and engineering specifications to determine sequence of operations, required cuts, and setup.
• Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments to fabricate parts.
• Inspect parts in accordance with drawings and work instructions.
• Set up and operate machine tools and maintain records of usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to meet quality standards.
