Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is hiring a production operator for our Hollis, NH facility. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot Dice, Laser, and UltraVia equipment, while inspecting substrates for quality and documenting outcomes in our ERP systems.

You will read dimensional drawings, follow process sheets, and ensure safe operation. Prior manufacturing experience, ISO/AS standards familiarity, and attention to detail are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• AS9100/ISO9001 and MIL/IPC familiarity preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings and work instructions.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated with team attitude.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving with known inputs/outputs.
• Ability to work across multiple manufacturing areas and adapt to processes.
• US citizen or permanent resident per ITAR policy.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clean, operate, and troubleshoot machines across Dice, Laser, and UltraVia.
• Operate all machines safely and read process sheets and drawings.
• Inspect substrates for quantity and quality prior to processing.
• Perform visual microscope inspection up to 2–3 hours daily.
• Identify out-of-spec product, hold and escalate as needed.
• Load/unload substrates and verify correct programs for work orders.
• Adjust machinery within process windows to ensure quality.
• Perform 100% visual inspection before moving to next operation.
• Maintain focus on high-quality product for yield and on-time delivery.
• Document production in ERP and quality databases.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area at all times.
