Gromax, a precision tooling leader in Germantown, WI, is seeking a Manufacturing estimator & Project lead to determine manufacturing approaches for customer projects. You will review drawings, estimate costs, and prepare quotations while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates bring strong blueprint interpretation, GD&T knowledge, experience with milling, turning, tooling, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills.
• Understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and precision manufacturing.
• Knowledge of machining processes including milling, turning, grinding, and Wire EDM.
• Experience with tooling, dies, fixtures, gauges, or precision machined components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable using ERP systems, spreadsheets, and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Review customer drawings, CAD models, and RFQs.
• Develop manufacturing plans and determine production methods.
• Estimate labor, materials, machining, tooling, and outside processing costs.
• Prepare customer quotations and manufacturing work orders.
• Coordinate with vendors on materials and outside services.
• Support production planning, scheduling, and job release activities.
• Work closely with toolmakers, machinists, engineers, and leadership.
• Identify manufacturing, quality, and tooling issues before production begins.
• Help improve estimating accuracy and manufacturing processes.
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding technical requirements and delivery expectations.
