Job summary
Amatrol in Jeffersonville, IN, is seeking a Precision Manual Machinist to set up and operate manual machining equipment, producing precision parts for global training systems. You will read blueprints, perform milling/turning/drilling/tapping, and monitor quality while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The role offers a Monday–Thursday 5:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
schedule and Friday 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. start times.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of machining experience with manual equipment.
- Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Comfortable performing milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring and bench work.
- Detail-focused with solid problem-solving and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual machining equipment to produce precision parts.
- Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and bench operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Monitor quality during production and troubleshoot as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
