Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on manual machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience operating manual mills and lathes.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional mills and engine lathes to produce precision parts.
• Set up machines and select appropriate tooling for each job.
• Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, job travelers, and work instructions.
• Take accurate measurements throughout the machining process.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
• Determine speeds, feeds, and cutting methods based on material and application.
• Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot equipment or process issues.
• Make necessary adjustments to achieve required dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect completed components to verify quality and accuracy.
• Maintain machines, tools, and a clean, organized work area.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
