Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility (CMF) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting a stand-alone manufacturing facility performing work on a hypersonic weapon system.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot issues, update logs, and ensure safety through the LOTO program while coordinating part sourcing and calibration tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Understanding electrical and mechanical schematics and troubleshooting guides.
• Experience with FANUC controls.
• Experience with diagnostic tools used in machinery troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong aptitude in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
• Advanced English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on all production equipment and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot to diagnose problems and repair production equipment.
• Update maintenance logs.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures strictly.
• Undertake precision alignments and calibration tests of equipment and machinery.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement on equipment and facilities.
• Undertake sourcing and ordering of repair parts, supplies and services.
• Ensure equipment is safe and within LOTO program requirements.
• Ensure prompt and regular attendance.
• Perform limited carpentry, painting and electrical duties.
