Responsibilities

• Sets up lathes by installing four-jaw chucks, tools and attachments.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions and performing test cuts.
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, turning, facing and thread chasing operations; taking measurements and troubleshooting.
• Maintains safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment by performing preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Contributes to company goals by taking on new tasks and improving processes.
