Job summary

Trivium Packaging is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate machine tools to produce precision metal parts. You will read engineering drawings, fabricate and repair components, and maintain tooling inventories while ensuring quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a shop machinist in a manufacturing environment / tool & die maker.
• Close tolerance precision grinding experience
• Apprenticeship and/or post-secondary education preferred
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Fabricate, repair, or modify mechanical instruments.
• Read engineering drawings and create dimensioned work diagrams.
• Maintain tooling library and reorder parts as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to standards.
