Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. is seeking a Manual Machinist to set up and operate manual and CNC machines at our Montville, NJ site.

You will produce complex tools, fixtures and parts in a high-precision environment, following blueprints and ECNs while adhering to safety and quality requirements. The role requires 5+ years in a precision machine shop, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in a precision machine shop, aerospace environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, operations sheets and ECNs.
• Self-motivated with strong planning and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate manual and CNC machinery to produce tools and fixtures.
• Inspect parts for quality, ensure processes meet specifications.
• Support continuous improvement and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize workflows.
