Job summary

This day shift role with periodic overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays, requires independent work and teamwork in a high-tech, automated environment. You will follow safety protocols, read blueprints, operate machine tools, and ensure accurate measurements.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand English on the job site and in training.
• Three years' experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and layout work.
• Capable of crane operation and rigging; crane certification within 90 days.
• Able to perform calculations and measurements; use micrometers and calipers.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Abide by all Company policies and safety regulations.
• Complete safety trainings and pre-shift meetings.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records using CMMS.
• Perform routine safety checks on equipment.
• Fabricate, install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair cane processing equipment.
• Read drawings and determine methods of operation.
• Operate and set up machine tools to fabricate parts.
• Measure parts with precision instruments to ensure quality.
• Monitor machining feeds and speeds.
• Ensure machine tools are kept in good working condition.
• Support crane and rigging activities as needed.
