You will interpret blueprints, select tools, and uphold strict safety standards to keep production running smoothly. The role requires a strong mechanical background, experience with shop tooling, and the ability to work under time pressures in a team environment.

Qualifications

• A strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Background in routine maintenance and safety compliance (Lock-out/Tag-out).
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of gauges (micrometers, calipers) and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Plan upcoming maintenance activities with supervision.
• Set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints and sketches for part manufacture.
• Select tools, fixtures and equipment for jobs.
• Ensure safety rules and OSHA/WISHA compliance.
