Job summary

Sharon Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, locat​ed in Farrell, PA, is seeking a skilled Machinist to support production through precision machining, maintenance, and setup of tools and equipment.

The role requires hands-on experience with manual lathes and Bridgeport milling, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety in an industrial setting. Rotating shifts and overtime are essential to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Must successfully complete a post-offer physical, background check, and drug test.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; Bridgeport and lathe equipment.
• Regularly lift and/or carry 50+ pounds; stand/walk 95% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Lay out work and set up machining operations according to specifications.
• Operate machine tools and fabricate or repair parts to required standards.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all machining and assembly tasks.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery and related equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support continuous operations.
