Job summary

Hose-mccann Telephone Co. in the United States seeks an experienced Machinist to operate and maintain high-powered machinery for precision fabrication.

You will work with drill presses, milling machines, and fabrication tools to produce high-quality parts per drawings and GD&T standards. Responsibilities include setting up machines with CAD/CAM and Fanuc controls, reading blueprints, inspecting parts with precision tools, and maintaining equipment and safety records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating high-power manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• PLCs experience desirable.
• Forklift operation and safety.
• Familiar with precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, tooling setup.
• Strong math for tolerances and measurements.
• Commitment to safety in manufacturing.
• Metal work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-power machinery including drill press and milling machine.
• Set up and program machinery using CAD/CAM and Fanuc controls.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to shape parts per specifications.
• Inspect with calipers, micrometers and other QC tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Handle materials with forklifts and manage inventory.
• Collaborate with team on assembly and packaging tasks.
• Document machine operations, maintenance logs, quality checks.
• Suggest process improvements and tooling needs.
