Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
Ability to read and understand all measuring devices.
Strong math skills required.
Ability to operate a lift truck.

Responsibilities

Plan and select best machining method to achieve tolerance, speed and finish.
Perform calculation to form the work piece, calculate speed and feed.
Select tools and materials for the job, plan cutting/finishing sequence, and mark start points.
Perform machining operations on equipment such as mill, lathe, drill press or cutting equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues.
Perform general maintenance.
React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Use Forklift/Tow Motor to move shipments and material, load/unload stock trucks and machines, or change gas tanks.
